Nikki McMillen Lee is a military veteran, City Councilwoman, technologist, and national voice on the future of AI, cybersecurity, and public infrastructure. With over 25 years of experience spanning the U.S. Air Force, tech startups, and Fortune 50 companies, she brings deep expertise in technology, leadership, and public service to the complex issues shaping our communities.
 

As a local policymaker in Tucson, Arizona, Nikki has worked at the intersection of innovation, governance, and community impact. She helps her community and fellow leaders navigate rapid change with a focus on long-term resilience. As co-lead of the National League of Cities’ AI Advisory Committee, she helped shape national guidance and tools designed to support cities, towns, and villages across the United States in adopting emerging technologies responsibly and effectively.

Nikki is also a proud mother of four: one in college, one in high school, one in middle school, and one in diapers.
